A Wee Bit Cold Here

It's been a wee bit cold and rainy here. That doesn't stop the Scottish people from getting outside. We've seen people outside playing tennis, jogging, walking their dogs, pushing their children in their strollers, and even playing golf! The Scottish know how to adapt to the weather for sure.

Our goal as a senior missionary couple is to go where the Lord wants us to go and be where the spirit guides us to be. We've had an opportunity to help some of the members here connect to their ancestors on FamilySearch.org. It is so fun to see their faces light up as they find out more about their ancestors.

The missionaries here are so awesome. They continue to call and invite us to help with their lessons. This past week we helped teach people from China, Nigeria, Nepal, and Texas to name a few besides the several from Scotland.  Glasgow is quite the melting pot. We have been able to meet many people seeking to know more about Jesus Christ and His gospel. It has been a humbling experience to meet so many wonderful people and make new friends.

It was fun to treat all the missionaries in our district to Five Guys.
A few had never been there and loved it!

We got to see some Highland "Coos" this week which was pretty cool.

We were able to go to an organ recital in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. It was super amazing! The organ was built in 1901.  Apparently, it is one of the most famous organs in the world. They have organ recitals daily. We definitely want to come here again.

This museum is massive. It has art from around the world. We could have spent the day here with so many pieces of art to look at.

Shout out to our little grandson, Dalton who has been in the hospital all week. He had surgery on a ruptured appendix. We have been praying all week that he can go home soon. It's hard for us not to be there to help out! Glad Dalton is such a happy kid and is making the best of being in the hospital! Love you, bud!
