Happy New Year! This past week, Stuart and I were able to visit Edinburgh which is only about an hour from our flat in Glasgow. Edinburgh at Christmastime was pretty magical!
The Edinburgh Castle with it Christmas light display was amazing.
Bagpipes begin the procession.
The missionaries have been keeping us super busy which we love! They work so hard. They are so amazing and we love them all!
Last Sunday there were four baptisms in the Glasgow Ward. There has been a lot of visitors and new members in the ward. The missionaries invite whoever they talk to on the streets to come to church and worship Jesus Christ with them.
The missionaries at district council meeting.
Stuart and I have been assigned to inspect the missionaries' flats every six weeks to make sure they are keeping them clean. We also need to check to see if they are in need of any repairs, etc. This past week, we inspected nine flats. We brought the missionaries cookies which they loved. It gave Stuart and I an opportunity to see where all the missionaries live and get to know them a little better, so we didn't mind driving around Glasgow and the surrounding areas. We were super impressed. All the flats were clean and well maintained.
At one of the flats we inspected, Sisters Ngwetsheni and Puafisi. They are the best!
We are so grateful for all the opportunities we've had this past week to help the missionaries in their lessons teach their friends about Jesus Christ. We have taught them in person at the church as well as by phone. We know our time here is Scotland is short. We love to testify that by coming to church we can drawer to our Savior Jesus Christ. We love Him!
