We loved our time last week at the MTC (Missionary Training Center) in Provo!
We met some amazing people, had great instructors, laughed a lot and learned how to be better missionaries. We were divided up into districts - us, plus three other couples. Our instructors are all returned missionaries and taught us from Peach My Gospel manual. We went Monday-Friday from about 8-4:30 each day. We stayed at our house in Alpine at night and commuted back and forth each day.
Couples in our district -
Elder & Sister Barlow, going to Australia;
Elder and Sister Gubler, going to Japan and
Elder and Sister Hansen going to Jacksonville, Florida.
The nicest people!

Our afternoon instructors on each end - Brother Kidd and Sister Creager. Loved them!
We were given opportunities to practice teaching to other couples while we were there.
We were able to practice teaching to Elder and Sister Herrod who are going to Italy.
They are such a fun couple. We were instant friends along with all the couples in our district.
We went to the Missionary Devotional, Tuesday night. Elder Gong from the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles came and spoke. Before and after the meeting he shook and spoke to as many missionaries as he could. He truly is a remarkable man called by God to testify of Jesus Christ wherever he goes.
Christmas at the MTC is a magical time. No where else I'd rather be for the week than with my sweetheart learning about Jesus Christ.
This next year as we wear these name tags, we will think about the name, Jesus Christ and who we represent as we serve the people in Scotland and Ireland. We love Jesus Christ and we will strive to become more like Him.
